My husband and I ventured here a little over a year ago. We took our three children: Hunter, Emma, and Max. We set up camp in between trash piles and took turns telling scary stories. You see, we aren't big believers in the supernatural, but love the thrill of travel and historic irony.
There is no record of my Max ever existing. He's gone, erased from this world.
We woke up to a son that had never been born, a statue of liberty in New Jersey, and Oscar MAYER weiners in our cooler.
We've been clinging to our memories, everyone else feels are insane!
I went into my phone to provide the deputies with a recent pic of my sweet boy, but he was noticeably absent from every one of them.. everywhere! I couldn't even find a baby picture of him.
The night was dull and uneventful, the full moon provided plenty of lighting, and the children were enjoying themselves.
Overgrown and trashy. Not worth visiting iny opinion.
It wasn't until 5 am, I felt a heavy burden on my chest, as if someone laid several bricks on top of me. I looked over to see my husband fast asleep, my children passed out in their bags. But Max and all of his things were missing. I jumped up frantically screaming for my son. I reached for my phone, my case seemed off, I paid no mind to that and called 911. By the time the deputies arrived my husband and I were in a panic. My children seemed confused when questioned. They were acting as if they'd never heard of their brother.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Had fun spending a weekend here. This place is truly in BFE. We cleaned the property for the owner who was a paraplegic and not able to get out abs clean up after disrespectful jack@$$$. People if you go here you will not be run off but please be respectful and pickup after yourselves and maybe any other garbage people left. Don't ruin a good thing.
My husband and I have been in deep mourning ever sense.
My friends and I visited right before sun down because we heard of all the stories of devil's tramping ground. It's an interesting place and all but all those stories will disappoint you if you go.
I'd taken plenty of pictures the night before.
The place is excellent and the thought behind it is fun. However, people have littered and spray painted several trees. I plan on going for an overnight visit and intend to haul off as much trash as I can. If you're heading there, please try to keep clean.
