Very nice store front in the middle of no where! Cool and a very short day trip. Thr place was packed. People love their fruit cakes. And a basket we gave away. The word on fruit cake cookies is AWESOME! Great place to get a taste of southern treats.
Been going here for the past 3 years I'm not a fruitcake kind of person but there's will make you want to go back to get more. People are friendly and helpful and have lots to choose from. Great place to go especially towards Christmas time I have friends asking are they getting that delicious fruitcake for a gift
If you have ever met someone who claims to hate Fruit Cake, give them a Southern Supreme Fruit Cake and they will be a convert for life. A visit to their retail store is a great day trip for anyone who lives in the central or eastern regions of North Carolina. They also have delicious chocolates, pralines, and brittles. If you visit, don't forget to stop by the free sample bar.
The fruitcake is the absolute best that you can buy. Southern Supreme also makes tons of other scrumptious goodies and carries a variety of Southern decor. However, the prices seem exceptionally high. Even though this is the only spot I'll buy fruitcake, I can get equally delicious and enjoyable baked and chocolate goodies or southern decor at more reasonably priced places.
Southern Supreme, what can I say, except wow! That is an amazing shop, and my kids loved their visit! I bought my kids some goodies and let me just say,I'm not a fan of malted milk balls, in fact I balked when my 7yo son had me buy them for him. I had flashbacks of getting 'Whoppers' as a kid and so I was thinking the worst when my son put one in front of my face to share with me. I tried one to be nice and they are wonderfully delicious! My daughter had this chocolate covered candy that had Chex, marshmallows, and a few other things in it.. yes it was delicious as well! I highly recommend for anyone to visit this place!
